A collaboration between the Haddon Lions Club and the CHHA - local agencies collaborating to address homelessness in the Central Highlands. This was a wonderful inaugural event and we look forward to an even bigger sleepout in 2026!

About the event
Participants enjoyed a powerful evening to raise awareness and funds for those experiencing homelessness in our community.
Every night over 5000 members of our community, including children and the elderly, experience insecure housing or homelessness in the Central Highlands. They sleep on the street, in tents or cars. Many are fleeing family violence.
Contributing to the change.
By participating in the Corporate and Community Sleepout, participants helped shine a light on this critical issue while raising much-needed funds through sponsorship and donations. Together we raised $8000 in funds for local homelessness programs including the CHHA Ballarat Zero Project to end rough sleeping homelessness, and Wintringham's support for older clients move into their homes.
