Homelessness Week: Houses at the Lake

On any given night, more than 30,000 Victorians are without a home (including 6,800 children). They're living in their car, staying somewhere temporary like a tent or a friend's couch, in a shelter or refuge, or have nowhere to go at all. In a country as wealthy as Australia, no one should be without a home.

Come and view the 6,000 origami houses on display, part of the 60,000 origami houses displayed across the state, representing the number of additional social homes needed to meet the current need in Victoria. Listen to guest speakers, including lived experience, and find out about homelessness in the Central Highlands region, and what we can all do to help.
